Are you as excited as we are for the arrival of the all-new 2019 Subaru Ascent? As its arrival date draws near, we wanted to clue you in on some of the awesome features of this incredible new vehicle. These facts will help you learn more about the newest addition to the Subaru lineup.

1. It’s the largest Subaru ever built
The 2019 Subaru Ascent has up to 153.5 cubic feet of passenger space1—that’s enough to accommodate up to eight passengers with ease! Available second-row captain’s chairs2 provide space for up to seven passengers and further amplifies its comfortable and accommodating interior.

2. It has plenty of room for cargo, too
Need to pack your gear in addition to your passengers? No problem! The Subaru Ascent has up to 86.5 cubic feet of cargo spage3, generous under-floor storage space and raised roof rails to tie down your bikes, kayaks, canoes and more. 3. It has 19 (yes, 19!) cup and bottle holders
The Subaru Ascent has a total of 19 cup and bottle holders distributed throughout the cabin, so you and your passengers will never go thirsty again!

4. You can bring the outdoors in
You read that right: The Subaru Ascent has an available 54-inch panoramic power moonroof that opens to the fresh air and sunshine of the great outdoors.

5. It’s built right here in the United States
The Subaru Ascent is assembled at the zero-landfill Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA) plant located in Lafayette, Indiana. The first Subaru Ascent rolled off the SIA assembly line on May 7, 2018. Our favorite canine family, The Barkleys, was on hand to welcome the Ascent to the lineup of highly capable Subaru vehicles.

6. Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology comes standard
Ascent owners will enjoy enhanced peace of mind from behind the wheel. Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology4 comes standard to give you an extra set of eyes on the road ahead. EyeSight monitors traffic movement, optimizes cruise control and warns you when you leave your lane.

7. It has an all-new engine
The Subaru Ascent has an all-new Direct-Injection Turbocharged (DIT) SUBARU BOXER® engine that delivers up to 27 MPG highway 5, 260 hp. and 277 lb.-ft. of torque. Pair this with its standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and you have the winning formula for ultimate driving confidence. 8. You can tow more than ever before
When outfitted with the available Class III trailer hitch, the Subaru Ascent can tow up to 5,000 pounds6. That’s more towing capacity than any Subaru—ever.

9. It has up to eight USB ports and Wi-Fi capability
The 2019 Subaru Ascent has up to eight USB ports7 located throughout the interior for easy charging of electronic devices. Once the devices are charged up, your passengers can connect them to the internet via Wi-Fi8!

10. Rear-seat Climate Controls with overhead vents keep passengers comfortable
Passengers riding in the rear of the Ascent can set their ideal temperature via the Rear-seat Climate Controls. Overhead vents are located throughout the vehicle to keep everyone comfortable. Available second- and third-row sunshades help block out the sun for a cooler interior.

11. SUBARU STARLINK™ Multimedia keeps passengers entertained and connected
SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia with standard Apple CarPlay™, Android™ Auto and Pandora® integration9 can be accessed via its 6.5-inch touchscreen (an 8-inch touch screen is also available).
